Magalie Vaé, the winner of Star Academy Season 5 in 2005, is preparing to perform alongside Ydriss during the upcoming Season 14 Prime 5, scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026. Now 39 years old, Vaé continues her musical career with the recent release of her single 'Avec toi' on November 2, 2026, following the launch of her EP 'La Victoire'. She was originally crowned champion at age 18, defeating Jérémy Amelin, and produced her debut self-titled album written by Rick Allison. Beyond her music career, Magalie Vaé has expanded into acting, appearing in the series 'Les Mystères de l’amour' on TMC. In an interview with Sans micros on November 3, 2026, she described the experience as allowing her to 'become someone I am not' and push deeper into her interpretive capabilities. Her life has also been profoundly shaped by motherhood since winning the show; she highlighted that raising her daughter changed her priorities and worldview, stating that subsequent events in her life were 'a blessing in disguise' because they allowed her to witness her child grow without missing a moment.
