On November 4, 2026, the Star Academy castle was the stage for an incident that many described as comical, yet which exposed visible tensions between two contestants: Kylian and Félix. Everything started with a simple meal preparation. While Félix, a contestant from Quebec, cooked his own gnocchi in the common kitchen, Kylian waited to be invited to share the food. When he became convinced that his partner had no intention of offering him even one portion, the Canadian challenger did not hesitate to deliver a remark that will remain in the record of amusing and tense moments of the season: 'You're stingy with the gnocchi.' Adding to the accusation, Kylian clarified: 'There are very few people who are stingy with gnocchi; you are among them.' [1] [2]
Félix's reaction was direct and without condescension. Not understanding why he should be burdened with the task of cooking for his roommate, the young man from Quebec replied firmly: 'Why is it my obligation to cook your food? Am I your mother?', thus ending the tense dialogue broadcast to the general public through the show. [1] [2]
However, these attempts were not the only problem Kylian faced that week. Having narrowly missed nomination, he was called into a direct disciplinary session by director Mosimann. In that private discussion later aired, the director explained Kylian's problematic behavior and disrespect for the rules established within the castle. Although he specified that he did not consider Kylian to be an arrogant individual, the administrator highlighted his dissatisfaction with the young man's lack of interest: 'That is not possible, when you should be inspiring people!' telling him not to repeat his past storyline since he joined the show, when he was perceived as a kind of 'little stupid, arrogant, and unfocused person.'
