Cyril Cinélu, winner of the 6th season in 2006, opened up to Gala.fr in October 2026. He spoke about his recent years and his upcoming participation in the Génération Star Ac concert on November 28 in Nice. He stated, 'It’s the kind of project I like. However, I don’t always do it because I don’t necessarily want to be exclusively associated with Star Academy, even though this label suits me well.' [1]

Cinélu, who obtained his Master’s degree after the show, taught from 2010 to 2020. Since 2019, he has performed at the Paradis Latin under the direction of Kamel Ouali, his former dance professor. He expressed deep gratitude to Ouali for creating a beautiful role for him. Additionally, Cinélu is working on an EP and supporting other artists on stage. His new single, 'Vivre,' will be released soon. [1]

The singer admitted that his post-Star Academy journey was difficult. 'There’s the before and the after Star Academy. For me, it was hard,' he said. He noted a lack of support regarding his album creation and mentioned having to do personal work when told the album was a failure. Despite this, he remains confident. [1]
