With nine months before the event begins, the organizers of the UNTOLD festival have prepared one of the most anticipated announcements of the year. The 2027 edition, titled STAR EDITION, will take place from August 5 to 8 in Cluj-Napoca. Until the complete lineup is revealed, its structure remains a mystery, with fans analyzing every visual detail provided. [1]
The official release by the organizers included three blurred silhouettes, designed to maintain suspense and trigger a wave of speculation on social media platforms. Users' comments quickly turned into an exercise in deduction, with spectators analyzing the shape of the silhouettes, accessories, and hairstyles to guess the identities of international superstars. Among the most frequently mentioned names are Pitbull, known internationally as Mr. Worldwide. A premise supporting this hypothesis is the artist's schedule, which already includes an appearance at the FM4 Frequency festival in Austria, scheduled for August 19–21, 2027, just a few days after the conclusion of the 2027 UNTOLD edition. Fans' wishlists also feature artists such as Dua Lipa, Tate McRae, and Damiano David, the frontman of the band Måneskin. [1]
Other international names mentioned in the context of major European festivals in 2027 include Olivia Rodrigo, Tame Impala, and Charli XCX. Although none of these names have been officially confirmed, interest is growing progressively. UNTOLD organizers have indicated that the wait is nearing its end, with the first nine confirmed artists for STAR EDITION to be revealed later this month. [1]
The context of immense anticipation is driven by the success of the previous edition, held in 2026. It attracted over 500,000 participants and was honored by superstars such as Sting, Lewis Capaldi, Zara Larsson, Martin Garrix, and Marshmello. The performance of the previous year has raised standards and audience expectations for the upcoming edition. [1]
